Since 1983, the physicians of Waukesha Elmbrook Health Care (or “WEHC”) have been providing quality health care services. WEHC, a Wisconsin Service Corporation, operates as an Independent Practice Association that contracts with health insurance companies. For many years, WEHC has offered a clinical integration program designed to improve the quality and efficiency of health care services.
Beginning in 2011, WEHC transitioned its employees and assets to a new accountable care organization, ProHealth Solutions. Now one of WEHC’s primary purposes is to manage its ownership interest in ProHealth Solutions.
